Collaborative experiments are opportunities for STS scholars and scientists to engage the empirical outside of our usual disciplinary constraints. We pursue experimental situations that can materialize and entwine divergent concerns, priorities, subjects and objects.

Critical Digital Exhibits

Our team members each construct a "critical digital exhibit," in which they display their identifications, connections, understandings, critiques and revisions in a way that addresses issues within each site of knowledge-production.

Citizen-Led Forensics

Ciencia Forense Ciudadana (CfC )is ar citizen-led organisation created with the task of governing and managing the emerging DNA and forensic database that has documented more than 708 cases of disappearance in Mexico.

BlackBox Vending Machine

The Blackbox Vending Machine is an interactive touchscreen-based kiosk that will ask conference participants to make a series of ethical, moral, social, and political decisions as part of a “maker culture express” experience.

Wooden Boat Building

An inter-disciplinary team was formed to combine knowledge of wooden boat building, effort of a hands-on class in teaching Naval Architecture and social study about shipbuilding to establish a wooden boat building school in Kaohsiung.

Tell a Salmon
