The College of Liberal Arts, California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), San Luis Obispo, CA, seeks applications for up to two full-time (academic year), tenure-track hires (one Assistant Professor, one Associate or Full Professor) in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) starting September 13, 2018. Candidates must demonstrate the ability/potential to collaborate across disciplines and contribute to the development of the STS minors and the emerging Interdisciplinary Studies (IS) major. Although applications are sought from any traditional liberal arts discipline, we are particularly interested in applicants with explicit backgrounds in STS and who may find their tenure homes in one of the following departments: Communication Studies, Political Science, and/or Social Sciences (Anthropology, Geography, and Sociology). Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
