Appointed by the President, the Council consists of 4 members—two from the current council and two from ex-council members. Following the same nomination procedure as for other 4S prizes, we received two nominations for consideration.
There were discussions among committee members on individual nominees, in particular on their importance in building global STS community, and we reached a consensus to grant the prize to AusSTS Graduate Network, a community for STS scholars situated across Australasia.
